The Threshing Barn

The Threshing Barn is a historic wooden barn, now renovated into a versatile banquet and event space—perfect for summer weddings, parties, and other gatherings.

The venue can accommodate up to 140 guests, with seating for up to 100 depending on the arrangement. The space is spread over three levels and includes a stage.

Catering is flexible: you’re free to arrange your own, or you can opt for catering from Café Omena ja Kaneli, located within the museum area.

The Old Hen House

The cosy, renovated space is perfect for meetings, events, lectures, sports sessions, or birthday celebrations. The furniture is movable, allowing for flexible arrangements.

Kurala Village’s Old Hen House is one of Turku’s most popular event venues.

The space accommodates up to 40 people, with tables for up to 30 depending on the setup. It includes a small kitchenette with a fridge, coffee maker, and kettles.

Catering is flexible: you’re free to arrange your own, or you can opt for catering from Café Omena ja Kaneli, located within the museum area.
