Self-guided visit

Kylämäki Village is an open cultural and recreational area. You can make excursions here outside the museum’s opening hours. From spring to autumn, there are tables and benches in the village gardens for picnics. In summer, you can admire the animals grazing on the village fields.

In Kylämäki you can navigate using a variety of maps. You will find a link to the maps at the bottom of this page.

During the summer, there are hidden caches on the farms, which you can find using a separate cache navigation map.

Please note

  • Smoking is allowed only in the lilac arbour in the café garden.
  • Fires and barbecues are strictly forbidden on the museum grounds.
  • Dogs are allowed in the area only if they are on a lead.
  • Please help us keep our village clean and tidy.
  • The customer car park is located along Jaanintie, opposite the entrance to the museum area.
